Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Easy Maxi Cabs services. By making a booking with Easy Maxi Cabs, you agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings & Confirmations
All bookings must be made via phone, email, website, or approved messaging platforms. A booking is only confirmed once written confirmation is issued by Easy Maxi Cabs. We reserve the right to cancel bookings if incorrect or incomplete information is provided.
2. Fare Quotes & PricingAll fares quoted by Easy Maxi Cabs are fixed and will be honoured as provided at the time of booking.
The quoted fare includes the trip as described during the booking process.
Additional charges will only apply if there are changes or details not disclosed at the time of booking, including but not limited to:
• Extra passengers beyond what was originally quoted
• Additional or unscheduled stops
• Significant changes to pickup or drop off locations
• Excess luggage not advised at booking
• Additional services requested (such as extra baby seats)
• Extended waiting time caused by the passenger
If any of the above occur, the driver or office will advise of any applicable price adjustment before proceeding where possible.
3. Non Cash Payment SurchargeA surcharge of up to 4% applies to card and digital payments (including credit and debit cards).
Certain commercial payment methods may attract up to a 5% surcharge.
No surcharge applies to cash or PayID/bank transfer payments.
4. Passenger Numbers & Luggage
Passengers must accurately advise passenger count and luggage at time of booking. Failure to disclose may result in additional charges or refusal of service.
5. Child & Baby Seats
Child or baby seats must be requested at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply. Easy Maxi Cabs is not responsible if incorrect seat information is provided.
6. Cancellations & No Shows
Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to pickup incur no fee.
Cancellations within 24 hours may incur up to 50% of the quoted fare.
No shows may be charged the full fare.
7. Waiting Time
Waiting time beyond the agreed pickup time may incur additional charges.
8. Payments
Payment must be completed before or at the end of the trip unless otherwise agreed.
9. Refunds
Refunds are issued at the discretion of Easy Maxi Cabs and where applicable under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Liability
Easy Maxi Cabs is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or events outside our control.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
11. Privacy
Customer information is used solely for booking and service purposes and handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws.
12. Disputes
Any disputes must be raised within 14 days of travel. We aim to resolve concerns promptly and fairly.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
